Interested?
You will need to
- be a self-starter, highly motivated
- have significant experience in river habitat restoration, practical project management and delivery, conservation, land and fishery management (especially for salmonid fisheries)
- demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills (oral and written), to work with our wide range of stakeholders
- identify and win sources of project funding
- share WTT’s ethos and values.
You’ll offer advice and practical help to our many stakeholders and deliver river habitat improvement projects at a range of scales, from start to finish, primarily in southern England.
Since WTT staff are home-based, applicants need to live in, or be prepared to move into, this geographical area. You will join an existing team of expert Conservation Officers, working especially closely with colleagues based in southern England.
We are keen for you to start as soon as possible, initially on a one-year contract.
